I live in Asia, i have 22" LED monitor already and the OS too

Ok. Another questions
FRAPS for recording, i heard FRAPS used a lot of harddrive space, right? how to make it smaller but without decreasing quality?

play, commentary and recording it with 1 harddrive is enough? people said, need 2 harddrives. What do you think about it?

about the motherboard, ASUS B85 Pro Gamer. Is it good to use for everyday task, play games and recording?

Well if you don't need an included moniter or alot of storage space it is perfectly possible to build a $1000 dollar build. On this budget i would forget about OC, it is possible but its hard to do on that budget. Before i go into what hardware, what are your gaming preferences?

by the way, 1 harddrive for recording and play games is enough?

FRAPS records raw footage in 140+Mb/s. You need to use a tool like Freemake Video Converter (I'd recommend a custom profile of 14Mb for 1080P) and you will find the footage has shrunk a lot without loosing much of its quality.

To reduce load on the CPU and GPU FRAPS doesn't convert at the same time, this enables you to get the best frame rates while recording without loosing quality.

I would advise getting 2 drives so you can record to one and run games off of the other.

1) A SeaGate 1TB Drive is the best Price : Performance ATM
2) An XFX 550W PSU would be great (Made by SeaSonic)
3) No idea.

XFX is the best for the price.
I personally HATE WD as every WD drive I've had has failed but that is MY OPINION. WD is just as reputable as any other brand ... But I love SeaGate!

I know it would mean going over budget but for an extra couple of hundred i would highly recomend getting a ssd like the samsung evo 840 and a wd black or blue depending on the price. This will make a rather large difference to you performance and with the ssd running your programs/games it leaves your harddrive all the bandwidth for writing the recordings.

I understand this is a $1000 build but honestly spending that extra little bit will make such a difference.

Hope my 2 bobs worth helps any!

Joel

Still a HDD (it's all about access time not speed. SSDs or under 1ms - HDDs are 18ms avg)

If your not overclocking even a H81 would be fine. As for make, choose the one with the best rating and price.

CPU:
Prime 95 for 1 hour
Or Intel Burn Test for 25 passes

GPU:
Furmark for about 1 hour
Better yet, Download MSI Afterburner, make a fan profile and then run Furmark.

HDD:
MiniTool Partition Wizard -> select the disk and click "surface test" (If you got a SeaGate, use SeaTools and run a Short Generic.)

RAM:
Windows Memory Diagnostics
