Will this new graphics card work on this current set-up?

Hi,

Here is the current set-up of my friend's computer: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01121574&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3544841&dlc=en

But his graphics card is breaking (Blue screen of death and other issues) so he's buying a new one. I've suggested this graphics card due to decent performance and ace price: http://www.amazon.co.uk/VTX3D-Graphics-Express-CrossFire-Technology/dp/B00BHAXKU4/ref=sr_1_4?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1396435901&sr=1-4&keywords=AMD+Radeon+HD+7750+Graphics+Card

My question is, will this work on his computer? I can't seem to find how much power supply his set-up has. Would the motherboard in the first link work with the new card? Any feedback would be great.

Thanks,
Chris

I suggest a GTX 750 for about 20 pounds more as that dramatically outperforms the HD 7750 at only a slight increase in price.

Another benefit of this card is that it does not require a 6 pin power connector so you can plug it in and play.
This also means it will most likely work with the power supply that your friend has.

I do agree with you sora, but the 750 is already 20 pounds more than what he wanted to spend for a graphics card, so it is up to him if he wants to spend 40 pounds over what he initially planned to get a 750ti.
If he were to get a 750ti, i suggest the EVGA SC edition as that does not require a 6 pin power connector and it is one of the few 750ti's to support g-sync, if he decides to use it.

True.
