Which one is better? Sapphire radeon r9 270x boost oc, sapphire radeon r9 270x vapor X or Msi radeon r9 270x gaming 4g?

Solution
They all excel in different areas, are you looking at hardcore gaming and no caring about the heat of the card??

The Vapor X edition would keep your card cooler than the 3 and yet will perform at virtually the same framerates as the others.

Whereas the MSI 4GB edition will give you twice the VRAM, in future games. They might take advantage of more VRAM to use for the games. However it isn't the most important yet, and I haven't seen a Game need more than even 1GB of GDDR5

And the Boost edition of Sapphires is really just the factory overclocked edition. Sometimes it could mean nearly 10 FPS faster in games as well as faster FLOPS as well. Though most of the time it would mean it runs a lot hotter than its stock standard editions.

My suggestion is to get the Vapor X edition as it would run the coolest and even if you overclock it like it's Boost cousin, you would be running faster and cooler.

Okay guys its been almost three months since i made my custom pc with the sapphire radeon r9 270x dualX and i have also tried the other versions on other pcs and i just wanna come out loud and say that the sapphire boost oc 4gb edition (which i have) is the best and gives the best performance and anyone out there looking to buy an amd radeon r9 series card MUST consider this one .

Peace out :)

Go for msi gaming 4gb if you intend on playing on high resolution or on multiple monitors . Other wise if you just want to play at a normal 1080p resolution then i would go with the sapphire vapor-x. Better cooling in that one.

Hi,
Did you try to do overclock the default clock setting of 1070/1400 mhz. Can it with stand uptill 1100mhz? I too have 270x dualx 4gb version and am not sure how much I can overclock cuz everytime I OC it to 100mhz and run 'Heaven's benchmark' my gpu is not able to handle the high temp and shuts down.

Thanx!!
