front usb wont work after cleaning

Hi, i decided it was time to clean the desktop so i pulled off the side panel and usb a can of compressed air all over it which was working fine untill it randomly started spewing out liquid! it got all in my front usb ports and now they dont work, I get 0 power from them. could anyone tell what ill need to do to get them rocking again please? the rest of the pc seems fine and im using a coolermaster haf 912 plus. thanks to anyone who can help :)

If your computer is working and the cleaning did not short it our the worst case is that the front ports got damaged and won't work. When checking the bios make sure that the USB is enabled. If the front is the only USB ports not working then the issue is with the ports and the connection to the MB so I don't know if that unit is replaceable but you may be able to get something that will install in one of the front bays that will provide a couple of USB ports.
When you did this cleaning was the power off ? Did you check the USB motherboard connector to make sure that it didn't loosen while you were cleaning.
Try a bios reset to see if it is just a shorting of the port that is the issue. The liquid should be evaporated by now.

Hey, power was off and all unplugged. I'll check the wire when I get home but I just used the air even on the motherboard. Deffo good call on the bios check tho. So what's worst case scenario?
