My friend gave me Seagate Constellation 2 1tb 2.5 can i use it for gaming?

A friend of mine gave me this Seagate Constellation 2 1tb 2.5 Sata III 7200rpm..im curious if i use this and replace my current Seagate Barracuda HDD on my gaming rig will it downgrade the performance?

Choose which ever is more convenient for you.
I'd go with your current drive. Mainly because you know it works and you don't have to change your configuration, just plug and play.

No it will not. HDDs only affect loading times, it will have very little effect on your games. You can use the extra drive as a secondary one, to store other stuff you don't want on your main HDD.
