I'd been using this graphics card fine for a few months when this issue started the other day. I'll just be doing normal, everyday tasks on my pc and the issue will start. It looks the same as when you change your display settings and the monitors flicker/refresh for a few seconds and then it works fine.

This video here demonstrates what happens, it continues doing this until I unplug the monitor connected via the ACTIVE DisplayPort v1.2 -> DVI adapter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W4akXNWku0 (the monitor on the left is the one plugged into the adapter)

I have one monitor plugged into the DVI-D port, one in the DVI-I port, and the last one is plugged into the DisplayPort v1.2 using an ACTIVE DisplayPort to DVI converter. I'm running Windows 8.1 on my machine. All my monitors are Samsung SyncMaster S23B300 's.

I hadn't had this issue before until today, I hadn't installed any new drivers or moved the pc or anything. It's very random.

Today I've tried all the Windows 8.1 compatible drivers from the SAPPHIRE site and even tried some of the Windows 8 ones, but still no luck.

Try this remove all the monitors. The monitor which you are using through DVI adapter, remove it and try running with the actual DVI slot from the graphic card. Just take out one monitor for now and see if it happens or not. If it doesn't happen than the adapter has gone bad or ether the display port of the graphic card.

Okay, I'll order another adapter and see what happens. Thanks!

I suggest that you try a complete different port for that monitor and see if that does or not. See it may either be the adopter or the port in the graphic card.

Alright so I got a new DisplayPort -> DVI converter (this time a Sapphire one) and it seemed fine for a day or so. But now today, after a few minutes of having a game open it does it again (just not as fast) it's really weird and I wish I knew the word to describe it as my main issue is not being able to get support on it from not being able to describe it.

If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

Try using one monitor at a time, see if it does happen on single one. Sorry i didn't saw the video first there was some problem in my net. How much time has passed since you bought that card? Use another card in your system any one and try to run 2 monitors see if it happens again. I may be wrong but it is happening from the graphic card side, try another graphic card just to be sure.

Unfortunately I don't have another graphics card to test with and neither does my motherboard have integrated graphics. It's definitely something to do with the DisplayPort though as I don't have this issue when the DisplayPort adapter is unplugged.

The order was placed on the 5th July 2013, going to talk to Amazon and see what can be arranged.
