Since switching to a bundle package with cable 1 week ago, our router is unable to access the internet. (Had previously been working fine with AT&T DSL modem.) The installers left without checking the router. How should we proceed?

Solution
Call the cable company and ask them if what DOCSIS version they use.

Is your router DOCSIS 3.0 compatible?

Had the same issue after updating my cable modem a couple of years ago and come to find out my Linksys WRT54GL router was not DOCSYS 3.0 compatible. Bought a Netgear WNDR3700 router that was DOCSYS 3.0 compliant and it fixed the issue.

The guy left without verifying everything worked?

So the router was previously picking up the LAN cable signal from the DSL modem?
Do things work if plugged directly into the new cable modem?
Is the new device a modem, or modem+router?
