Kingston 4GB DDR3 RAM KVR13N9S8/4 problems with my Windows 8.1 64-bit OS

Hi people,
I have a PC with the following specs:
Intel® Desktop Board DH55TC
Intel Core i3 530 CPU at 2.93 Ghz
Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM (KVR1333DN9/2G - SP)
NVIDIA GeForce 630 Graphics card
Seagate 500GB HDD
OS Windows 8.1 64-bit

I had a Kingston 2GB ram as mentioned above. Then I decided to upgrade it with another 4GB
It was KVR13N9S8/4 - SP. When I started my PC it properly beeped twice and the windows loading screen appeared. After that it just reboots all over again. I even tried booting my PC using only the 4GB ram but the same problem continues. My BIOS is also fully updated. I have also tried changing the voltage but to no avail.

Please help me

Hello, I'm Jewel with Kignston Technical Support. The problem is that KVR13N9S8/4 is not compatible with your motherboard. We no longer support the Intel DH55TC as we are no longer able to manufacture memory that is compatible with it. The compatible 4GB part number is KVR13333D3N9H/4G which was discontinued at the end of 2013, you may still be able to find this part from some online retailers. The main difference between the old and current 4GB modules is that the new modules are Single Rank while the old were Dual Rank. This means the new modules use half the number of DRAM chips that are of a larger individual capacity. The reason they do not work with some older systems is that they are not capable of recognizing or communicating...

So there isn't anything that i can do now with this new ram?????? And by Dual rank do you mean this - 4 GB (8 x 256 MB) DDR3 DIMM. Also if I use any other ram (other company) with Kingston's will it work?

No, i am not able to boot up my pc with just 4gb stick. And i tried running memtest86 but after 33% it just freezes.

I have the latest BIOS and how do i clear the CMOS chip???

Sorry to revive this thread but.. I just had this problem today. So I'm guessing MSI 2A9C is no longer compatible with this new KVR13N9S8/4 module as well? What I have that is working is KVR13333D3N9H/4G and the new one blue screened on me. My question is though, would KVR13333D3N9H/4G work on new motherboards? Thanks.

I also have a dh55tc Motherboard
bought 2 new Ram the kingston KVR13N9S8/4 4gb
I tried 1 ram first and the problem occured as mention above Then

I tried with 2 KVR13N9S8/4 ram and it works PERFECTLY!!! I don't know why a single ram won't work.

My CPU - Intel Core i3 530 CPU at 2.93 Ghz
