I have a Tosh Satellite in for a smashed screen replacement. I'm pretty sure before I ordered the screen I turned it on and saw light and leaky LCD liquid. Now I have replaced it with a new one, reassembled and there is no display, no dim light, nothing. I replaced the cable and still nothing. It is doing the same with the old cracked screen and the new one. Tried the old and the new cable. Tried it on an external monitor and its fine, so its not the graphics chip. Tried an ATX reset, tried removing the bios battery. Nothing went 'wrong' during the process, it was as simple as the many many other screens I have replaced. Any ideas anyone?

so the power light on the monitor itself is not turning on and the monitor is plugged into the wall? have you tried to plug it in another place to see if it at least get some power from the wall?

EDIT : ho i see it's a LAPTOP screen...forget me then i know nothing about these, sorry
