CPU cooling help!

Hello guys, I am currently thinking about water cooling my dual cpu work station/gaming rig, does a water cooler need to be made for Intel Xeon, or can I use any other types. Also, if you know of any good air coolers that might work better in my case, that would be a great help. Thanks again guys!

Water coolers are made socket to socket. I can only recommend one if I know your socket/CPU.

what's your case?

You can use water cooling (assuming pre-built) for any (what do you mean by any?, there are some exceptions) type.

two air coolers would be great, Especially two Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo's around $39 each. That is far better performance/price ratio then any available liquid cooler around, by far. And don;t be mistaken, the Hyper 212 EVO's are excellent CPU coolers at cooling and aren't that overly big either.

yes it will, just make sure you have 14cm+ of headroom space and you'll be set.

any cooler/s that fit the socket and are rated to cool the TDP (power draw of chip) will work. Liquid or air.
