Hey! Recently I have been having problems with my SSD spiking! What do I mean? Well, lets say I am listening to music and I start a game like minecraft. Then the disk queue goes extremely high and it spikes for second. My music stutters and everything else too for that second.
The system also gets extremely slow when using demanding disk applications on the SSD.
Specs:
x1 Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P, Socket-AM3+
x3 Corsair Vengeance 1666mhz RAM CL 9-9-9-24
x1 Geforce 770 2GB
x1 AMD FX-6100 6-Core Processor
x1 Intel 530 SSD
x1 WD Green
x1 750 W PSU 80+ Bronze
x1 Cooler Master CM 690 II Lite Black
My SSD benchmark:
What I have tried:
- Enable AHCI -> Was already enabled both in W7 and in BIOS
- Enable TRIM -> Already Enabled
- Install Intel SSD Toolbox -> No change
What problems am I getting?
- The average queue lenght spikes when opening applications:
The spike happens exactly at the same time when opening anything.
- Applications that use a lot of disk lag a lot
What have I done that could affect this?
- Reinstalled Windows (Haven't changed any hardware though)
- I also got a BSOD a day ago and this was also happening, here is a link to it:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38237670/report.txt
- I ran DBAN for 1 pass to wipe the SSD
Any help is appreciated, I can't really use the computer
I do like solving problems, but I have tried everything I know. Any help is greatly appreciated
