Not sure what to do here. Can I plug two 4 pin connectors into the 8 pin slot in the card, or is there some sort of adapter I can buy that goes from 6 pin to 8 pin?

hi jfo,
dont use the two 4pins m8 they are probably for the 12veps cpu power
you can buy pcie power adaptor cheaply that will power an 8 or 6pin pcie card like these ,

you can get 6pin or 8pin , plug them into 4pin molexes from your psu and you will be good to go

Be careful with the adapters. If your PSU has twin 4plugs, those are -usually- for the motherboard since some boards take an 8pin mobo connector - twin 4's are usually for that.

If you're running a basic system (mobo, 1 CPU (non-oc), 1 drive, 1GPU), you could use molex -> PCIe adapters to power the GPU if you have a 400w or so PSU. An 8pin connector is rated for 150w of power, so add 100w more for the CPU and 75w for the rest of the system and you should be covered.
