The problem is you have a Touchmart All-in-One which makes graphic card upgrade problematic.

Since it is a touch smart pc you cannot upgrade it's graphic card. On the other hand that graphic card is fine and will play games at decent resolution but don't except heavy gaming on it.

HP have told me the graphics card can be upgraded but the graphics card must be PCI Express 16.

In theory you can. In practice it is not USER upgradable. Experienced technician with proper equipment needed to do it.

The discrete card can be replaced. However, you're not going to find that particular card anywhere but HP.

So you cant just take the current graphic card out and change it with another compatible one like i have been told they will do?

If you send your PC to HP, they should be able to do it. You can't do it on your own.

No, a standard video card cannot be installed into your all-in-one.

Exactly my point you can only upgrade to mobility graphic cards but they are no good and your current is good and mobile graphic card are also hard to find.
