how do I use rj45 splitter from modem to 2 computers

Solution
By RJ45 splitter do you mean ethernet switch,or router.

If its a switch, that depends on your ISP. My ISP will give me up to two IP addresses. So in that case it would work as your ISP would assign a unique IP address to each of the computers.

With a router, it will definitely work. In this case the router is the only device that your ISP sees connected to the modem. It's WAN side is assigned the IP address. The computers that you have connected to the LAN side are given private IP addresses (in the Class C range) and the router uses NAT to direct network traffic to and from the internet.
