Hello...I just bought a Sapphire R9-290 Tri-X OC version and i had encounter a problem...whenever I play a graphic demand game such as Metal Gear Rising, when it comes to a heavy graphic usage the fps will starting to become low and then immediately hang at the place. This problem did not occur when i using my previous graphic card Sapphire HD7850 OC version.I wonder is it the driver problem or the graphic card problem.I had put on a power meter to calculate the actual wattage and the peak wattage use is only around 350-400watt however when my computer hanged, the wattage shown is only around 90-100 wat..I wonder is it my power supply problem or my driver problem...I had installed the latest 14.3 beta driver from AMD once i installed this card but due to the problem i downgraded back to 14.1 beta driver...
Here below is my system spec.
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
AMD FX-8320 personally overclocked to 4.0GHz
Sapphire R9-290 Tri-X OC version(upgrade from Sapphire HD7850 OC 2GB version)
14.1 Beta driver(downgraded from 14.3 when i just installed this graphic card)
AsRock 970 Extreme 3 R2.0 Motherboard
AVF Extreme Power Supply 750W
Kingston 8GB 1600Mhz RAM
Western Digital 1TB 5400 rpm HDD
Please help me and advice me for this problem...thank you very much

See the problem is your power supply is not enough, i am surprised that that card is running in your pc. It consumes 22 Amps and your power supply only give 18 amps on both the rails. So that might be the problem. Try another powerful supply see if that helps.

Hello there. I advise you to do some things first:

-Install the latest AMD driver for you OS (for example Windows 7 64Bit)
-Make sure that your components are set on the right speed in the BIOS. (like 1600 RAM)
-Try to set everything right at the game settings. Like the resolution or other things.
-It could be one of your components.. Something could be bottlenecking..
