Ok so I'm looking to upgrade my mobo.

My current mobo: Motherboard: AM2+ Foxconn AMI A7MVX-K (4GB RAM)

Future mobo: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga...

Now, since this is the first time I'm changing the mobo so I need to know a few things. First of all the cables for the front panel (PC power switch) connected to the mothervoard are all in a single proprietary block that all wires run into. But i know that most of new mobos are different so im not quiet sure what to do? (apart from getting a new case)

This is how it looks like now:

Thankyou!

Chances are your mobo will come with its own little block connector.
It should look something like this.

I suggest you just connect your wires to that, and that to the mobo.
I doubt the case itsself has a block connector.
I couldnt see your link though, it 404's
Can you repost?

Yeah...unless those wires are marked somehow, I don't know what you should do.
You could try just sticking it in there, but I don't know if I would.
