I am going to make a new gaming rig and was wondering what would be better for my computer, a 128GB and 1TB HDD vs 128GB and 1TB SSHD. And if I was to go with the SSHD would it make much of a difference against the SSHD?
Thanks in advance.

In my opinion 1 SSD and 1 HHD is a better/solid option.

I'd go with a single large SSD. Right now there should still be a $330 for a 750GB Samsung EVO and I'm tempted to jump on it...

I agree.

Wouldn't a hybrid be quicker than a regular HDD though?

I'd rather have one SSD and HDD for 100% SSD and HDD instead of one SSD for 100% SSD and one SSHD for 50% SSD and 50% HDD = 150% SSD and 50% HDD. Lol my logic ;)

Yes, of course. Would it matter though?

Unless you are constantly moving things back and forth from one to the other, it would make very little performance difference and you could have tons of capacity at very decent 7200rpm speeds.
