Hello guys ... I was wondering if you could help me reduce the price of my future build without losing too much performance. I would like for my new build to run all games on Ultra settings in 1080p, possibly some over clocking down the road hence the K series processor.

one important thing i forgot to say was that i plan to run Virtual Machines and 8GB won't cut it, same thing with teh 120GB ssd.

Thanks for the infos! i'll look into the 2GB graphic card alternative

Any advice is welcome!

The only thing I would recommend is getting a 2Gb video card instead of 4GB.
Most games to this date can only access 2Gb of VRAM anyway.
You may be able to save $30 by getting a 120GB SSD too.
If you plan to install a lot of games I would stick with th 240GB though.

Well, you can go without aftermarket cooler, 120gb ssd, cheaper case, and perhaps 8gb of ram. 8gigs are enough for gaming and you can easily upgrade later. I agree with Nathan, you probably won't need 4 gb of VRAM anytime soon

if you're gaming you dont need 16gb ram. heres a 8gb 1866Mhz ram the should do the job.

Dont need a full tower. this case i recommend very good cable management with fan control.

more storage.

Better cooling over overclocking.

Psu unit made by SEASONIC xfx 750watt.

forgot to mention it in my initial post, i edited it: the reason behind the 16GB of RAM is because i want to be able to run multiple Virtual Machines on my desktop. Again, thanks for all your great advices.
