Install Windows 8 in UEFI mode

When I put my rig together, my BIOS was in hybrid mode. Windows 8 wouldn't install in UEFI or hybrid, but only Legacy.

How do you install Windows 8 with your BIOS in UEFI mode? Is it even worth the hassle?

What error were you getting when trying to install it in UEFI mode? Were you booting to the disk drive using a UEFI boot and not a BIOS boot? (you should be if you are trying to install using UEFI)
It is worth it. You get faster boot times and better security for nothing.
