flash player is choppy on all browsers

Hello, I have been searching for an answer to my problem. I've tried several things, but none works for me. I need help. I am willing to just start from scratch. I just want to watch videos. I'm pretty sure it is not my internet connection as I am able to watch videos on other pc's without the choppiness. I am on an emachine e625, running vista basic. What else do you need to know? I'm pretty computer literate, just stumped here and need some guidance. Thanks!

did you update the flash player in this laptop to the latest one .

the other laptop is vista business. it's a lenova r61i. flash player plugin is version 12.0.0.77. I happy to try a reinstall, is there a best way to do that?

did you install them for all the browser you use . since there is one for firefox and other then one for ie also .

I did, mostly use chrome, but reinstalled on firefox and ie as well. Doesn't mean I did it the correct way....

if you still have the issue and your using chrome as main browser i would remove and reinstall it also i use this to check if my software need update it is all free http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ it call secunia psi .

I just wiped everything and reinstalled back to factory default. Solved the problem!

on the wipe off you could have remove a old version off flash that was still on the system and made conflict with the new one .
