Hello everybody, I am a Minecraft enthusiast, and I am going to get rid of my old Windows Vista laptop, which runs a normal game at about 10-15 fps. I cannot tolerate that, so I am going to build my 1st desktop. I know how to build one, but I want to know the fps when playing normally and recording, so I have made a PC part picker list. One more thing, I am on a budget, and I can't go above the specific price for this list. But I am open to better/cheaper options, but again, they can't go above the specific price.

You can use that build, still I think you should improve your PSU, HDD and RAM.
PSU: Try going for a Corsair, XFX or Seasonic. 550W is enough.
HDD: I prefer Western Digital or Samsung.
RAM: Try going for Corsair, G.Skill or Kingston. Instead of having 1x8gb, go for 2x4gb since that will "use resources more efficiently".

You need a better PSU (a decent one will cost about 2x as much), Logisys are terrible power supplies, there is a high change that under a heavy load it could damage your components. (I have had a cheap power supply blow out on my and decided to take my motherboard along with it)

I noticed the Hitachi HDD is not listed with a price, do you already own this?

I think the stock FX 6300 cooler will work fine for you, that $9 cooler wont really add anything.

- The Corsair CX is a budget psu but it is way better than what you had listed, and at $30 it is simply too hard to pass up. The psu i would typically recommend is the XFX 550w bronze 80+ which is about $60, for $30 the corsair cx is the best you will get.
-Switched to the 750 ti
-dual channel ram
-slightly better mobo
-dropped the cooler, that one is probably worse than the stock cooler. the lowest cooler I recommend is the Cooler Master 212 Evo for $30

Edit: yeah stay the hell away from that logysis psu, it is a piece of junk and would not support your cpu & psu because it does not have enough power on the 12v rail to do so. they have artificially upped the wattage by putting more amps on the 5v rail which is BS marketing to lure unsuspecting victims into buying a paperweight [/rant]

Thank you guys so much for the tips!! All of you guys helped, and thank you guys for telling me to stay away from the PSU that has a possibility to spontaneously combust! My house would have burned down if it had short circuited, and to think of the computer!!
Thank you,

Also, now that I have this setup, how many fps will it get while playing or recording minecraft?
