Hi

Does anyone know any information about the evga gtx 780 ti 6gb like specs, release date, price, etc? Also do you think that two gtx 780 ti 6gb in sli would be good at 4k and better that two normal gtx 780 ti super clocked in 4k since it would have 3gb more gram?

Thanks

:)

I believe details are hard to find, but yes... the 6 GB Cards would be better at 4K res or multi-screens

3GB is enough for 4K i would say, some fools at AMD even ran Eyefinity in 4K on two R9 290X (which have 4GB). The 6GB version is probably also going to cost almost as much as the TITAN BLACK i would expect. :)

780Ti 6GB? Isn't that exactly what the TITAN Black is?

no because the gtx 780 ti 6gb has 1072mhz clock speed and titan black has 889mhz clock speed, gtx 780 ti has wider memory bus, better pixel and texel rate, etc.

titan black is more useful for bulk mathematical operations . it has more functionality for that purpose

You were saying? They're basically the same thing but the TITAN Black has more memory and is clocked higher.
The aftermarket versions of the 780Ti are clocked higher because they have better coolers. If you we're to watercool them they'd probably reach equal clocks (money shouldn't be a problem since the TITAN Black is already so expensive).

so you're saying that i should get titan black sli instead of gtx 780 ti superclcoked sli for 4k? Also the evga gtx 780 ti 6gb version will be a kingpin edition and will have a 1072mhz base clock.

Yes, if you intend to watercool. If not, go for the superclcocked 780Ti 6GB since it has a better cooler.
