SSD not recognized by msi MS 7681 bios

I just bought a second ssd for my WIN 7 computer. Its not intended as a boot drive just some additional storage. I physically installed the drive and booted up but Windows did not see the drive. So I looked in the bios to see if the drive was listed there - its NOT. how do I get my bios to see the drive?
The drive is a PNY xlr8
the bios is MSI -MS - 7681.
Help please.

If you look at the back of the motherboard you should have a "Clear CMOS" button hold that down whilst the pc is on and that should reset your bios but please note you will loose your current settings.

I plugged the SSD into a different port and now the bios sees it. - But Windows still doesn't see it.
