I just bought a second ssd for my WIN 7 computer. Its not intended as a boot drive just some additional storage. I physically installed the drive and booted up but Windows did not see the drive. So I looked in the bios to see if the drive was listed there - its NOT. how do I get my bios to see the drive? The drive is a PNY xlr8 the bios is MSI -MS - 7681. Help please.

More aboutssd recognized msi 7681 bios
If you look at the back of the motherboard you should have a "Clear CMOS" button hold that down whilst the pc is on and that should reset your bios but please note you will loose your current settings.

change the port or clear the bios or check this SSD on another PC if possible
