this might be a stupid question, but when i send things on the internet to google drive, is it using my bandwidth to take it from that site to the online storage or is it using googles?

just to be clear, i know that when i sync my desktop with drive, obviously, i know that uses my internet, i mean when i send something directly from a website to google drive (i have an extension that does that)

You're using the bandwidth of whatever device is sending/receiving the data. If from a cell phone, you're using that phone's connection, if from a laptop/desktop, you're using that one. Depending on what connection you have at that time to the internet (WiFi/LAN , wireless data for smartphones, etc.), you're using that particular connection.
