Recommended Graphics Card?

Hello!
Currently I'm building a PC mainly for video/photo editing and creating (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, etc.), and probably I'm expecting I may do some light gaming on it, with Skyrim and DotA (A friend recommended it, but my current PC is slow so I never could try). I'm hoping to use this card for 2 or so years before upgrading it to something new.

My budget is about $1,000 CAN, and I have about $130 to spend on a graphics card, but I'll probably have $160 leftover by the end which I'm hoping to save. I was wondering about which card I should get since I'm completely new to graphics cards. I currently live in Canada.

Currently I've narrowed it down to these cards:

-Diamond AMD HD 7770 (about $80)

-EVGA GeForce GTX 750 SC ($139.99 @ NCIX)

-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 ti OC ($164.99 @ NCIX, free shipping)

-Gigabyte R7 260X 1GB ($139.99 @ NCIX)

Currently the $140 cards are at the top of my budget, but I'm not sure if the performance difference between the 750 ti and the 750 is worth it for the price. The other cards seem to have good performance, but I don't know the differences. If there are any other cards, however, I'm also open to recommendation. Any who, thank you for any help!

750TI is ~25% faster than 750 non-ti
260x and 750TI are roughly equal as performance, 750TI is more expensive but also new technology and consumes less power.
7770 is a nice basic gamer but getting a bit old nowadays.
Performance/$ 260 is the best.
Performance/watt - 750, 750TI are unbeatable as of today.
hope this helps.
