Geforce GTX 750ti : Can my computer handle the upgrade?

I was thinking about upgrading my PC for a new graphics card but I am unsure if my computer can handle it, if it doesn't, what do I need to upgrade to it?

AMD Athlon(tm) X4 740 Quad Core Processor
16GB of 1333Mhz DDR3 RAMRealtek PCIe GBE
Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2
500W PSU

That card will run with no issues on that PSU.

The cpu may be a bottleneck but everything looks great. The 750 has low power consumption

It would be ok, since GTX 750ti is perfect for smaller system and has amazing power draw for lower PSU's, Have you got a stock PSU or did you buy a branded one?

absolutely not and it would be totaly ovrkill for your cpu...get the 750ti or upgrade everything to a new pc with a 770...
