It really depends on what kind of experience you're going for. Tbh, the 236hl's aren't all that great for surround. Getting good ones that have little back-light bleed is a crapshoot, and they are very reflective. Both of these things make them poor side monitors if you happen to play games with lots of dark scenes as you will easily spot the reflections of your other monitors and any other room light source, but they are otherwise quite alright for any other brightly-lit games. I'm currently looking to get rid of my two side monitors an am going to go for two more 120hz Lightboost monitors to match my center one as motion clarity is a bigger concern for me than color accuracy. Now, don't get the wrong idea that these monitors are somehow terrible; they have pretty decent color accuracy and aren't too bad for input lag, have slim bezels, and most importantly, they're CHEAP. Just be aware that you'll have to control the lighting in your room to have them look their best, will have to live with 0 stand adjustments besides a shallow tilt, no VESA mounting options, and if you're ok with those things, then they might just be what you're looking for for an immersive yet inexpensive surround/eyefinity setup.
