120mm fan replaced with 140mm fan

hey guys, so i have this 120mm fan and its a sleeve bearing, this fan keeps making noise and i kept oiling it. however i replaced it with a 140MM fan, my case is Cooler Master Storm Sniper, is it ok to put it in a 120mm spot? its just tempo.

I actually have that exact case. The only 120mm fan is the one in the back - is this the fan that you're replacing?

It really shouldn't be a problem if you can get it to at least be there without falling - not sure how you're going to do that considering the holes are for a 120mm fan. The Storm Sniper case has 3 200mm fans which is plenty of cooling even with the 120mm fan completely missing.

yes the one in the back of the case that's where i put the fan at.
