Hey,

I just bought the ASRock FX990 Fatal1ty killer series motherboard and it'll be fine running for about 6 hours, and then I go away for 20-30 minutes and when I come back - it's completely frozen. I can't open task manager or anything like that, my only other option is to hard restart my desktop. I legit can't go away longer than 20-30 minutes and come back to it not be frozen.

Also, the USB 3.0 isn't working for some reason. I ran the motherboard drivers, and still nothing. For example, my new WD external HDD I legit just opened 2 minutes prior to posting this, doesn't work on the USB 3.0 and it specifically advertises that it works for USB 3.0. I have the big thick cable from my front case panel connected to the USB 3.0 connector on the motherboard.

Specs:
MOBO: ASRock FX990 Fatal1ty Killer series.
CPU: AMD FX-3600 Vishera 6-Core.
PSU: Corsair CX500 Builders Series.
GPU: MSI HD Radeon 7770 GHz Edition 1GB.
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Sniper Series 1333.

I really need help, it's annoying me.

Thanks!

Put computer to sleep: Never
Turn off the display: Never

It's always been set that way.

I fixed USB 3.0 issue. I had to reinstall the driver for it directly from the ASRock website. As far as the sleep mode via BIOS, there's no option. I'll give it a test run tomorrow.
