Don't mind that build. Junk PSU, FX 4130, Medion monitor and other cheap stuff for the amazing price of 1200. Even if it has GTX 780, for that price you can get more.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock B85M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($59.50 @ Newegg)
Memory: Avexir Core Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($76.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card ($309.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $806.41
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Here is 800 suggestion. In the middle of your 500-1000. For another 200, you can also have a GTX 780, for a total of 1000. Cheers and good luck.

P.S You can always change the case to something that fits your taste. Just make sure it can fit ATX motherboards, and has enough space for the video card.

What I have is a cheap home workstation for 3D and VFX, that can game a bit when I have the time. It was never build to be a full fledged gaming rig - else it was going to have I5 and a 680 instead of I7 and 16 GBs of RAM and a Wacom tablet.

That motherboard has all that is needed. Why pay for extra when you wont use it? (Did you mention what is your motherboard at all?) Anyway, you got a scrap of a PSU. And you never skimp on a PSU. Who knows when that thing is going to blow up. In addition, in many instances I5 gets double the FPS of an FX 4130. The FX 4130 or a Pentium G is not enough to keep feeding a 780 properly, while calculating AI or a Physics engine. To add, who knows what you have on your Windows or how bloated it is. And also, sorry but Medion is a cheap and bad monitor manufacturer. All you have over there is a GTX 780 and you are asking too much money for it.

P.S. Nevermind, saw your video you posted in the link. Which amazingly is MSI 970a-g43, or in other words - the same price and a bit less features than the Asrock B85M Pro4

Spamming the forums as you have been doing is a great way to earn a little "vacation time". Knock it off...
