Rushing it. Thats really the only problem.
Sometimes parts are DOA, but thats so slim of a chance it almost never happens.
My advice is go slow, think about each part you put in, and what part needs to go next. Its funny watching people put the PSU in first then struggling to get the motherboard in later.
Cable management is probably the hardest part of the build.

i would say bad advice i know so many people that for some reason are in love with a certain company or type and think its the best when in reality its not. Or people who have no idea what they are talking about suggesting a piece that they have never used. Next would be bad trouble shooting skills people just start changing settings and dont write them down and keep track and wonder why their computer is going nuclear. Finally human error.
But the most important thing is patience we all need a little. And yes when building you will encounter lots of problems and solutions. Its a great experience.
