CS:GO Low Framerate on decent PC?

Hello everyone. I just have a concern about this PC, and why this happens to me on literally the only game I get even the slightest bit competitive on. Every game I play on this PC I get a minimum of 100 FPS, except for brand new games, but every Source (L4D2, CS:S, HL2, Portal 2) game, with best settings across the board, this thing runs at nearly maximum (300) at all times.

On GO however, I get sub-100 fps 80% of the time. fy_ maps with very few textures, I can barely break 100. This wouldn't even bother me if it wasn't for the graphic lag spike every so often. It seems like any time I get in a firefight it spazzes for just long enough for me to get killed. It's not a huge stop, just the length of a mouse-click or so. Almost like it forgot to load a gunshot sound and suddenly has to, so it just stops everything to do so.

Anyhow, generally it happens when there are a lot of people, when there aren't so many it's not quite as noticeable. It seems like a RAM issue but I can't see 8 GB NOT being enough for this game. Any ideas?

All drivers are up to date as far as I know, even updated the BIOS, and friends with comparable PCs are dusting me. Usually at least double the framerate I get.

I'm trying to think of what else I've done to attempt to fix this, but other than update the drivers, that's all I could think of to do, short of buying more RAM, but that would just make me mad if it didn't end up working.
