Well I do a pretty good amount of traveling during the summer and winter. I can't lug my full tower around during these times. I don't want a laptop since the price to power isn't worth it.

The budget is $500-$600 (I am flexible). I need it to be an itx build that will be able to fit my gtx 780. Also it needs to have windows 7 as an OS for program compatibility issues.
Things required:
CPU
Motherboard
RAM
PSU
SSD? (Maybe a small 64-128gb)
Case
Windows 7

Solution
This should work. No SSD though.
Before you recoil in horror at the PSU packaged with the case, it's an EVGA 500w 80+ Gold PSU that, by multiple reviews, can easily power a GTX 780 and i5.

This would probably be the best choice if you want to spend $150 extra over your budget. I really wouldn't recommend buying the optical drive, it just will make the case look ugly

You wouldn't be able to do any serious overclocking on a Mini-ITX board with a $600 budget anyway, so there's no reason to pay extra for an unlocked CPU and cooler.
