I have some older software I've used for years to do all my photo fixing, (like Photoshop just much more simple). It's called "Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition v1.1 I knew that any OS newer than Vista was not compatible so... when I found a very nice (like new) Gateway laptop (like my old one that finally died after about 5 years), I bought it because it has Vista Home Premium. When I put the CD in the drive, auto play opened the options. But when I clicked on "Install PhotoDelixe, I got a little box, (notice) that says: D:\adobe\install.exe "The operating system denied access to the specified file." Needless to say I was surprised but more than that I was very sad because I'm an artist and I LOVE and have used this software exclusively for years. (It came free with a scanner I bought many years ago. Not to boast but I can do more with it than most can do with full PhotoShop.
Does anyone know how I can override this denial of access and download anyway? I thank you in advance for any help. Sincerely... RC Nummer1ahteest.
