About to embark on a new build as soon as all the parts arrive. Would using the 9800GT (has 1GB memory) be a significant improvement over the onboard graphics? If not, I can ditch the card and use the onboard until I feel like spending money on the MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Twin Frozr III - that thing is quieter than a subpoenaed IRS official.

CPU: i7-4770
Mobo: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3, 1600MHz, 9-9-9-24
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SATA III
Power: Corsair CX600M 600W ATX

the newer intel ipgpu on the haswell cpu are close to the same power as a nvidia 650 card. the only issue would be the game itself if it was looking for a nvida or amd gpu. it may not install and fail with you needing x about gpu to play the game.
