Will the Intel Core i5 4200U (1.6 GHz - 2.6 GHz ) bottleneck the Nvidia GT 740M ?

No. I would take a gpu like 770m (which no manufacturer would do) to bottleneck that cpu.

The HP 15-n204TX has the above mentioned CPU and GPU. Can it play high end games like NFS: Rivals, COD Ghosts, BF3, BF4, Sleeping Dogs etc.?

Yes i saw that before..the Nvidia card is great for its price but I wanted to know if that CPU can manage those games.

Yeah, it will do fine. You gpu is going to hit max before you cpu i and those benchmarks will be accurate towards you rig as well.
