Freeze in Windows 7

try a "System Restore Point".. that'll restore your machine to a point when it worked better.

what kind of freeze? lag till it just goes kaput. or are you doing simple stuff then it just freezes completely, cant move mouse, can't hit ALT+TAB.. ?

Startings Windows, every programme - even Ms-Spider - freezes for about 5 minutes, then it works well.
