I have 2x Win 7 PCs, One is on my domain, the other on a workgroup, both are connected to my network having both the same IP range.

The test data cannot be calibrated onto a machine on the network so is done on the 'middle PC' which is on a workgroup and logged in as local administrator account. The data is collated to a folder on the workgroup machine and i then want to share this folder out to the domain connected machine and access the collected data. (or simply map to it, or simplest way to do this)

So i am looking at how to map to this workgroup PC from the Domain by what credentials and correct way to do it, i may have been going wrong previously by not mapping to the workgroup machine using its IP address, but i was also unsure what user\pass to use at these points.

If anyone you help out and give me a clear step on what needed i would REALLY appreciate it

You can either use the local administrator account or create another user account on the stand-alone system, use a password as blank passwords have issues when used like this.

On the domain machine, map a drive to the share holding the data and use "PCNAME\USERNAME" format to connect where the PCNAME is the stand-alone computer name, or IP.
