I read on www.asus.com about the monitor that I have some basic monitor advice for a better picture. They mentioned you should set Brightness around 60-80% of the contrast setting for better visual quality an less strain on the monitor an your eyes. Does this hold any weight?

I tested that advice an the result is less strain on my eyes but I don't see a huge difference in quality of the image. Actually I think it lessened the quality.

There are a ton of settings on this Monitor that I'm still not sure what they do. Like the 'ASCR' an the 'Tracerfree'. I've messed with them but I don't notice a difference, I guess I don't know what I'm looking for.

Also where could I find some nice HD Wallpapers for my Monitor?

I usually need to drop the Brightness down to 30-40%. 60% feels way to bright.
