Nvidia shield needs

Hi i ahve a r9 270 in my pc right now but am i able to put in a nvidia card in my pc and just swithc between the cards and if its possible will the shield work with a gtx460 or gtx650ti or any other and plz if you can give me some andvise on this and if you need a better gtx card then plz tell me what card i wouldd need.Thx

It will work with a GTX 650 or higher so the GTX650 ti is what you'll want to use. I'm not sure how you'd disable the R9 270 without having issues, but it can be done. I wouldn't suggest mixing AMD and Nvidia cards on any machine. You could sell the GTX460 and the GTX650ti and get a GTX750 or better and just run with that card if your intention is to use Shield for game streaming.
