+1 for this

Also, it may be overkill but a Z series board will usually support overclocking a little better. Since you have a K series CPU this might be a good idea and a good upgrade path, budget allowing.

I'm not interested in OC and I don't have a k-CPU....

A G1 SNIPER M5 is in Gigabytes 'Ultra Durable OC Series' It means that you can overclock higher but still have stable performance.

Have a look at that. I have this motherboard on my PC and it is perfect. I have a full tower, 16gb of Corsair Vengeance RAM and Intel Core i5 3.2ghZ I can overclock that < quite high and have done so and the performance is perfectly stable.

But is there any reason to change to that board if I'm not interested in OCing?

Potentially yes. It is your choice. Just have a look at it on the website http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4482#ov

yeah thats fine if you are getting a good price on it. and even if you dont OC the gigaabyte is a great MOBO i use it and love it. it has a lot of functions. has a dedicated processor just for sound so audio quality as great. plus you might want to oc in the future to squeeze relevancy out of your computer. it will help future proof it a bit.

Also you Might want to go a hair bigger with your psu. If you get a good 850 it will allow you to SLI in the future
