I have an ASUS motherboard FM2-A55/CSM and my HD6700 GPU has a tall heat sink. Fitting a second one does not appear possible. So what two GPUs will fit for Crossfire in this mobo?

I have figured out I can crossfire with my APU if I buy a HD6670, but finding one locally has proven difficult.

All I could find on that motherboard is Micro-ATX, all of which only have one PCIe x16 slot. GPU's today will need them to Crossfire.

Can you direct us with a link to the motherboard? Searching that one comes up with a few different ones.

Yes, that one only has 1 PCIe x16 slot. I wouldn't crossfire with your APU if you'll be running games like BF4. If I were you, I'd just get a high end single card. Make sure your PSU is enough. What APU exactly did you have? AMD A10?

I play EVE and run multiple clients. I bought the A8-5600K and will be going out tonight to pickup an AMD HD6670 which will crossfire with the APU.

It should provide enough performance, then. Any more and you'd have to get a good dedicated card.
