Hello!

So I've put together a PC , quite some time ago. Everything was working perfectly in the beginning. Until recently, I started having problems like : USB mouse disconnecting randomly (especially when playing games) Few days ago, PC started to restarting when playing games. Once PC restarted and I got a message regarding "Power surge" while playing a game. I've done some research and I read somewhere that it could be a PSU issue. Although my PSU is is 600W which should be enough.
I've also considered PC overheating. I've tried installing, uninstalling mouses drivers...so far with no success.
Could all this be related to 1 matter?
My specs :

PSU : CORSAIR CX600W

How old is the PC? Do youy leave it on for long periods?

Over time PSU capacitors lose their ability to hold/deliver rated power. If you were near the PSU limit before, you will probably be at or over the limit after 2-3 years.

Another possibility is AC power stability. Is anything else in your home turning on/off when this happens? This can cause a brief AC voltage ripple that some PSUs are more sensitive to than others.

Also, check your motherboard for any swolen or burst capacitors. Sometimes these can fail due to heat or defects.

To add to maddogfargo's message, the CX-series PSUs are made with cheap capacitors that tend to fail over time.

Thank you for your reply! @maddofargo it's fairly a year old. Yes , I've left it on for long periods. Oh,I will check out the motherboard as soon as possible. And there is nothing that turns off on/off in my home when it happens.
@ Eduello I did not know that, I should've done more researching before buying it. It's my first own custom built PC ever.

EDIT : I've also tried other mouses. 2 of them infact, one does not disconnect randomly(but cursor moves by itself). Second one does not click properly.(double clicks+ it's new) I'm confused by all this. I don't know what to think. Could they all be related to same issue
