My PC has just arrived after a long wait and I have just finished downloading Arma II and Rust to find something I didn't expect. I had done much research into the specs I was getting and many games were maxed out with over 40 FPS. I am struggling to run Arma II on normal settings with over 20 FPS.

Here are my Specs: 4440 , GTX 660 2gb and 8gb RAM

I don't know if this is important but when I exit Arma after altering settings it comes up with an 'Intel HD Graphics' window. This is despite me having a GTX 660 which I believe is a good graphics card.

I have thought that it may be the CPU as games like arma II are CPU dependant but others have no problem andstill games like Rust are also giving me low FPS.

Sorry if I am being stupid.

You can get a DVI-I to VGA adapter for a couple of bucks: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-DVI-Cable-Adapter-DVIVGA...
