my thumb drive is telling me that it needs to be formated before I can use it, but it was working before and it has files on it that I was accessing without a problem, now it is requesting to be formated and I know if do I will loose the data on the drive. what can I do to get the data of the drive?
I tried restoring my files using zero recovery assumption version 9, and it restored the first part of the drive but did not get to the essential drives I was looking for. I need to know if there is another solution that I can use or if there is a better way to recover the files. I have tried checkdisk, and repair and that did not fix the problem, it said it could not view the file because it was RAW file. I could not access the file that way, this other one partially fixed it but I need to recover the entire drive if possible. Do I have to pay for the full license in order to get this done because I'm using the trial version.
