R9 280x worth the upgrade cost?

I currently have am so gtx 560ti hawk. Is it worth the $350 to upgrade to a sapphire R9 280x?

I mainly play games and like to be able to have my strings near max. I use stream and have all sorts of games some advanced graphics, some not so much. Also am thinking of staying top do some mining.

Defenetly a good upgrade, the r9 280x is a rebrand of the 7970 so it is the same performance as the 7970, here's benchmarks both cards head to head you can see for yourself if this is worth it to you :

You're looking at about twice the performance as the 560ti with the r9 280x, i beleive it's clocked a little faster than a 7970 so it is even a little tiny bit better than the 7970 shown in the...

You could also try to get some money for the 560ti wich would help pay for the 280x...

What powersupply do you have in your system and wich CPU are you using?
