I am getting my Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO delivered tomorrow. I will be using that for my FX 8320. I am using stock clock speeds, but the ambient temperatures at my place go up to 35 or so, plus the stock cooler is crappy.

I have a few old 80mm case fans that work pretty well and are quiet too. They are the plain ones with no LED or whatsoever. There is one that as a 3-pin connector and there are a few too that draws power directly from the PSU.

Now, can I install one 80mm fan on the Hyper TX3 heatsink in push/pull config with the default 92mm fan? I saw that someone made a push/pull config with both 80mm fans. I wish to use the stock 92mm for the push and the 80mm for the pull.

The TX3 EVO comes with a bracket to add a 92mm fan. Can that be used to mount a 80mm fan in some way? I got glue, wires, zip ties, double-sided tape and all.

So, in a nutshell, here is what I want...
---> 92mm Stock fan ---> Heatsink ---> 80mm fan ----> chassis exhaust ---->

How can I get it?

You can see the fan mounting brackets here. These two rectangular beams are screwed to the two edges of the 92mm fan that attached with the heatsink.

The thing is, in the Hyper TX3 (not EVO), the fan is attached without brackets. You can see here how wire clips are used. Can I use wires like that?

And here you can see how the fan is attached with the brackets.

Adding a second fan to other heat sinks doesnt improve performance. It doesn't help with the Hyper 212 EVO or that Noctua heatsink either. So I doubt it would help with the Hyper TX3.

Just a thought.

I actually got it working in Push/Pull. Yes, it is right that my CPU temps are the same as with only Push before and the Push/Pull now. But, however, my NB temps seem lower by 2-3 degrees. That probably is because the Push/Pull is better at getting the hot air out of the chassis. Dunno what it is exactly.
