740m vs 8850m vs 8750m vs 8730m

I own a laptop with 8730m , but itstruggles with most 2014 games , so i was hoping to buy a new laptop, but i have a low budget and the only good ones i can afford are the ones with 740m , 8850m and 8750. Iknow there are other factors to consider , but almost all of them have same specification(CPU, RAM,HDD,) and other things such as display are not important to me , so the choice comes down to these gpu's , i will buy the lappy with the best gpu and can you guys also tell me if they are futureproof for two/three years

all core mobile i5 are dual cores with ht so they all have roughly the same performance. 8850 equals to a hd 7750(desktop) so we are talking about a low end performance, but still more powerful from your current one. if you want a future proof machine though, you should look elsewere. with such hardware you better aim for current and older games not future ones!

8850 is the better gpu among these and since it is benchmarked on several laptops/games and since other specs of the laptops you intend to buy are the same make sure it will be a worthy upgrade .http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8850M.87118.0.html better wait till you get a budget that allows a core i5/i7 and gtx760 and above

yeah that may be a while , btw the one with the 8850 has a core i5 4200u and the others have a core i5 3337u and 8750 has a core i5 3230 , will the 8850 serve me for at least a year or two , i dont care for graphics , only 720p res will do and i want to play games like the division , watch dogs , GTA 6 ? , you get the idea

thanks bro , since i have to buy one , i will just oc 8850m ,seeing how my current one (8730m) is already overclocked at 40%.

careful with overclocking though cause laptops dont have such sufficient cooling like desktop! constantluy monitor your temps!

GPU never goes above 80 even though i dont have a cooler and live in a relatively hot place
