wanting to upgrade windows XP to windows 8.1 but according to the manufacture's box that the software comes in says "that if running windows XP this software will not work" and this is printed right on the box of both versions of windows 8.1 home & 8.1 professional
I am also afraid that if it can be done i don't want to lose not being able to play my older games
I also want to use the internet to read emails and other stuff and I had also read on Microsoft site that I would have to completely wipe out my hard drive and do a clean install in order to use windows 8
I also have a video card Nvidia 9800 graphics card that the cooling fan has quit working for some reason wondering if it's possible to replace the fan or what ever
