Hi I have a Toshiba 2TB HD. When I'm surfing the web it has been stalling when i click on something. You can hear the HD spin um and make kind of a beep sound before the browser decides to do anything. This is becoming more frequent is my HD going bad? If it is is this something that can be RMA'ed.

Hi sorry for the delay I tried the drive test but nothing showed up. I should have been more specific about the problem. This happens even when not in a browser. If i click on files or open anything from the D drive it will occasionally freeze and say not responding, the drive will spin, make a weird buzz(kinda like a phone receiving a message on vibrate) or almost a beep sound, it will then load what was requested and work fine playing a movie, loading a web page etc. this does not happen all the time but frequently enough to question it. Also I have a high end PC so it is not memory which I have 16GB of, and it is not a laptop but a PC. The drive specifically I'm questioning is a 3.5" 2TB HDD.

I would get another hard drive. They are so cheap it is not worth loosing your data or worrying about the hard drive.
Make sure the hard drive does not have some power saver stuff enabled. It sounds like hard drive failure to me.
I would replace it!
